Two eco-minded GoodGymmers showed incredible renewable energy by running and cycling to Wimbledon to help Sustainable Merton pack up their Greener Living Pop-Up. They refused to let any effort go to waste, working efficiently to deconstruct activity stations, sort recyclables, and pack event cars right to the ceiling. One eco-hero even proved there is no planet B by taking hard-to-recycle items home to ensure they were properly processed rather than sent to the landfill. Their zero-emission dedication ended on a high note by rescuing a surplus loaf of bread from a local bakery, saving it from the bin and proving that one person's waste is a volunteer's well-deserved treat!

As Merton's local environmental charity, we aim to inspire, mobilise and enable our community to take action on climate change and protect our environment for future generations. Sustainability and wellbeing go hand in hand, so our projects address both environmental and social goals, such as addressing the cost of living crisis and strengthening community connections. We believe that a happier, healthier, more connected community is one that will have the greatest impact.
