The six o'clockers took over with a smaller bed to cover with "only" 2 tonnes of sand compared to the 4 tonnes of the 5 o'clockers, with increasing numbers of onlookers/supporters sitting in the evening sunshine on College Green.

Which meant far more artistic time after the heavy lifting of the Initial Spread, combined with the rectangular frame, for Sand Art.

A bright sunshine in the sunshine was followed by an interpretation of GG logo was declared as success with maximum points awarded.

Huge thanks to those who donated to the post-Greta fund to repair College Green back before the pandemic - we look forward to the flowering of 500sqm of wildflowers in the heart of our city. And aching a bit after the hard work.
