3 of us again today collected food from local supermarkets to fill the Community Fridge in Exeter Library.

A good 10kgs of donations today, and nearly 100kgs for the week - its great to see the project helping so many.

We're back helping with this each Saturday morning, check out our homepage to join!

Exeter Community Fridge
We rescue surplus food from supermarkets across the city and give it away to all via a publicly accessible fridge in Exeter Library in order to reduce food waste.

As above. We need volunteers to pick up surplus food from designated businesses and drop it off at the Community Fridge. Quantities of food can vary but we will aim to match individual volunteers to particular pick-ups. Pick-ups are usually in the morning and the fridge is open during library opening hours. We are primarily a sustainability initiative.
