Hot-footing it to Martens Grove Pump Track after parkrun, we were back in action helping Bexley Bike Club with their free community BMX session this morning.

Johnny was riding high on the pump track, spotting as the children tackled the dips and bumps. Meanwhile, Sarah was in the skills area, setting up the limbo bar, moving ramps and positioning cones to create a course for riders to weave under, over and around. She then switched gears to camera duties, capturing plenty of action shots for the bike club to use on social media.

It was brilliant to see riders of all ages and abilities giving it a go. Some of the children were fearless, whizzing around the track with confidence. Others took things at a steadier pace, but everyone got stuck in and had a wheel-y good time.

The sessions are now taking a break until next spring, when we're looking forward to getting back in the saddle and lending a hand once again.
