Another Saturday morning visit to the wonderful Zen Garden , lakeside allotments!!

Two Goodgymers made it there to help out Springboard ! Today Springboard needed help shifting some shale stone gravel for the base for the new cabin that will be coming very soon . Nigel and I arrived at 10.30 to meet Esther, enthusiastic and cheerful as ever, ! and accompanied by another 6 awesome volunteers. We had 2 hours to shift 2 and a half tonnes of gravel ๐Ÿซฃ It was tough going as we had shovel it into bags, load it in the van and take it off the other side and re bag it all .!! Ready for it to be used for hard-core. Definitely a good work out and we only just got done in time!! ๐Ÿ™Œ It was followed up by a well earned cup of teaโ˜•๏ธ sitting down chatting and eating cakes that people had made . Nigel made a shortbread , and there was some apple pie ๐Ÿฅง. A great mornings work !! ๐Ÿ™Œ And I look forward to the next visit to Springboard.
