Mrs. A has been scammed twice by gardeners and was desperate for some help to tame her front and back garden. Enter GoodGym!

Kanika and Diya rocked up to Mrs. A's home for the second good deed of the day. A quick look at both gardens, we knew another visit would be needed but we were determined to make an immediate difference. We started by tackling the overgown... everything ...in the smaller of the two - the front garden.

For a while, the only sound in the Close (apart from the gliders overhead) was "ow" "ow" "ow" as Kanika and Diya tackled the very prickly shrubs and hedges! Packing the green bin was particularly hard and in one of those instances of pushing the trimmings down, Diya got a nice thorn through the gardening gloves. That got the loudest "ow!". 😱😱

In just under an hour, the front garden was fully trimmed and tidied up. We then moved to the back. Kanika started mowing the lawn while Diya tackled the paved area to clear out the weeds. We made good progress but time soon ran out and we eventually had to stop because of the not-long-enough cord for the lawn mower. One more visit by GGmers (with an extension cord) and her garden will be looking pretty again.
