I did this in my back garden in Wimbledon with my husband, my dog and a cup of tea! We saw 2 robins and 2 magpies (the latter were either making a nest in a tree or stealing from it - so possibly wholesome or possibly daylight robbery! We tend to see more birds in our garden like various tits and sparrows but on the day they were no shows! Always a really nice way to spend an hour in January and is great to be contributing to the RSPB research.

Edit: Meanwhile Georgina and Jade took the opportunity to meet in Canon Hill Common and catch up over a coffee whilst counting opposite sides of the space. And Emily grabbed a hour to join the count as well.
