GoodGym Birthday wishes to Anne

At the Group Run

Last night we headed to the allotment, it was a bit touch and go due to the amount of rain we have had recently but surprisingly it wasn't that bad. Meeting at the Leisure centre - James, Leo, Tom, Owen, Katie and Belle set off to the allotment. I drove round with the tools and met them there. Waiting at the allotment was GG member Wayne.

Heading into the allotment it was time to turn over the plot. Arm muscles burning it was soon looking good. James and Katie dug out a very nice looking trench ready for the row of Gladioli in at the front. These will be flowering in the summer time.

We also came home with some lovely Kale which we planted in the Autumn time last year. I look forward to seeing everyone's creations. James learnt a new vegetable for the night and I hope he enjoyed it with his beans on toast. Katie was looking forward to adding it with her chriszo dish.

Community mission

This sunday at Woking park to help out with the Junior Park run - info and sign up online to get involved. They are always looking for volunteers, so if you are free let them know by email.
