On this beautiful sunny day I met with Gillian, Sheila, Rachel and Juli at Braywick Park for more Friday lunchtime litter picking. Meanwhile Celine, Amanda, Kanika, Diya, Georgeta, Tessa and Matthew tackled rubbish closer to home/work.

Along the Braywick Road and in the bushes around the sports pitches there was no shortage of bottles, cans, vapes and food wrappers. I walked less than 500m but filled a bag and the others returned with similarly heavy sacks.

Georgeta found lots of clothing, including some with labels and hangers still attached.

Matthew targeted, can you guess? That's right, Ockwells Road! Thankfully this time he found no monsters.

Well done to everyone who has helped tidy up our borough on Fridays this year. It would be great to continue Friday lunchtime litter picks beyond January. If you are up for leading each week, or perhaps once a month, then please get in touch. If you're not Taskforce yet then we can arrange for you to become Taskforce. If you are already then you'll be able to hit the ground running (or walking!)
