We'd been asked to mow Mr M's lawn - he's recently been diagnosed with dementia and is less able to do things himself.

When we arrived, the lawn had already been cut by a neighbour. Instead we agreed with Mr M that we would clear the ivy and brambles growing along his rather l-o-n-g garden fence, and weed a small flower bed. We also swept the path.

By the time we finished everything looked much tidier, but you'll have to take our word for it as we forget to get that all important 'after' photo!
