While other GoodGymmers were busy at GROAD's base at St Faith's in Dulwich, Andrea was in Brixton to open her first GROAD satellite collection point. With the help of Abigail - another volunteer who had seen the call for help elsewhere online - I sorted through bags of clothes and other items that were being dropped off at the site at the corner of Acre Lane & Solon Road. Donations were coming in to support Ukrainian, Afghan and other refugees, the homeless and vulnerable, and struggling families. We powered through the bags and bags of warm winter coats, summer tops, tons of trousers, brand new trainers, baby bits, children's clothes and more, filling up the van. I am sure that GG Lambeth will be back at the new Brixton site before too long. 👖👗👟👕
