On arrival, I immediately felt the weight of expectation as Mrs P’s carer, M, showed me a text message from Mrs P’s daughter: “Tell the gardener……….” - what followed was a long list of gardening tasks including weeding the front and back garden, cutting the grass in the front and back garden and trimming back all the bushes and shrubs in the front and back garden.

As it was wet and the grass was long, we agreed that could wait until another day and decided the priority was to start tidying up the front, particularly the driveway and pathway to provide better and safer access.

Two hours later the driveway and front pathway was looking much clearer, but still plenty to do another time!
