This week we welcomed 2 new runners to @GGBarnsley. Please woop, hola and cheer;

With a Rae of sunshine on a cloudy day and Grace in our hearts we set off to meet FABULOUS FLO of ELSH and assist with creating a new center for her Church and support the fantastic work they will be doing supporting the local community with educational programmes.

On arrival we were met with a skip to fill, there was heaps of work to do so there was nothing to it except to get straight to it!

Sister Sledge Kim got busy smashing the bigger items, sorting out her draws and identifying mystery items. Flo nearly kicked the bucket when she realized she threw Handyman Richards buckets that we were filling rubbish with into the skip! Stevie G commented halfway saying it was Sofar so good, but he did begin to tyre as the task went on, especially when is came to moving and entire car wheel, hub and all! Grace provided us with a shovel masterclass and Rae got stuck right in, not afraid to get her hands (gloves) dirty.

@GGBarnsley were definitely the remedy for the piles as by the end of the session the skip was full to the brim and the yard was clear, ready to be used in the future. Great job team!

Overheard this week;

Grace - Steve, can you pull this rug out?
Steve - No, i'm no good at pulling.

See you next Tuesday! Happy Running.
