4 GoodGymmers, 1 headtorch and very wet and windy conditions didn't stop us continuing our ongoing task to remove unwanted shrubs and trees from the Christ Church yard in Moldgreen last night.

Following a few visits over the summer we are now down to the toughest task of digging out the most resistant roots and stumps.

Despite only having one headtorch between us (mental note- the dark nights are definitely back!) Ben Godfrey, Louise Galvin, Zena Whalley and I got busy with spades, saws and crowbar for what felt like a proper winter workout.

Church of England Church

We are a small Anglican Church, off the main roads of Huddersfield. We've just welcomed a new vicar in September but had a two year vacancy before that and it was hard for the congregation to keep up with tasks around the building. We'd really like some help tidying up the garden around the church - trimming shrubs and removing some, planting bulbs at the front of the church so it looks better next year, that sort of thing.
