The sun shone and we shifted hundreds of thistles from Huddersfield's Tiny Forest last night. It was nice to have a guest visit from firmer Huddersfield GoodGymmer David Bilton who showed he had not lost his touch for doing good.
Thanks to the entire team of Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, Louise Galvin, Wendy Redmile, Graham Browning, David and Pam for their thistle pulling efforts.

Four Goodgymers walked to Snow Island twirling our litter pickers Charlie Chaplin style. We picked up six bags of litter along the way. Well done team!

Tonight we weaved willows at Cinderhills Community Garden and left it looking much tidier.
A total of six Huddersfield GoodGymmers dodged the heavy showers and spent an hour tidying the willow hedge and tunnel surrounding the garden.
Well done and thanks to Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, Wendy Redmile, Emma Nd Evie for your willow weaving efforts.

Cinderhills Community Garden got a little bit of GoodGym love tonight. The raised beds and willow tunnel were looking a little overgrowed when we started, but an hour's worth of work from Ben Godfrey, Wendy Redmile, Emma Kirkby-Geddes and myself left it looking a lot better.
Its same again next Tuesday evening for anyone who fancies it.

This evening three goodgymmers enjoyed the sunshine and went plogging along Leeds Road. We collected six bags of rubbish and made the flower beds look much better.
