We arrived to meet Mrs D and her carer who were after a good old tidy up for Mrs Ds back garden. After an hour or so of weeding and clearing out some dead leaves, we stood back to admire our handiwork and the grape vine that seemed to have produced a bumper harvest of white grapes. We progressed then to the front garden which was much more overgrown with weeds crowding out some colourful flowers and lavender, as well as a small apple tree. Avoiding the wrath of what seemed like a whole hive of bees that were busy feasting on the pollen (and the fallen apples!) we filled two large sacks of garden waste as well as a couple of refuse sacks - a fruitful morning's work!
