Despite the tube strike, two of the regulars who are local, Margaret and Lisa, joined me (I am super local) as we had to regretfully weed the bluebells, which though lovely, had overgrown and we need the soil space for more plantings and to allow other plants to have more space and light. The garden itself was looking great and some of the vegetable seeds we planted several weeks ago had germinated. We received many compliments from commuters who took time to admire the garden. It was not all weeding as we also planted a few new plants. Now that the weather is better, we probably will come along every week, Thursdays at 10. If you are in Finchley, please come join!
