You have to love GoodGym to come out for a job on a cold, wet October evening. But come out they do, without fail....tonight a total of seven GoodGymmers arrived at Christ Church Moldgreen, ready and willing to get busy.

The church has a congregation comprising largely older people, so they sometimes need a little help in to keep the churchyard looking neat. As such tonight's task was to tidy the churchyard, sweeping leaves, weeding and generally making the place look better.

Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, Zena Whalley, Tom Elcock, Thom Wood and David all swiftly stuck into the task and soon had the place tidy, making access to the church safer and more pleasant for everyone who uses it.

We are a small Anglican Church, off the main roads of Huddersfield. We've just welcomed a new vicar in September but had a two year vacancy before that and it was hard for the congregation to keep up with tasks around the building. We'd really like some help tidying up the garden around the church - trimming shrubs and removing some, planting bulbs at the front of the church so it looks better next year, that sort of thing.
