As part of my work's "volunteer month", we descended on Oxford Mutual Aid's HQ for an evening of tidying and organising!

One of the lovely OMA volunteers gave us an introduction to OMA and a tour of the hall. Then we split off into smaller teams for various maintenance jobs. I was mainly on cleaning and restocking duty, but we got through a lot of different tasks overall!

• Decanting huge bags of pasta into smaller portions 🍝
• Sorting nappies/diapers into smaller packs and tidying up the toiletry corner 🐣🍼
• Checking the stock and temperature of the fridges ("Steve" the fridge was slightly too warm 🔥 😱)
• Refilling shelves with the tinned food we brought along 🥫
• Cleaning! (Emptying bins, wiping down tables, sweeping the floor...)
