11 super Saturday community warriors enjoyed the sunshine at the weekend as they met up at Paradise Cooperative Garden to help wash the massive yurt. It turned out to be quite the upper body workout, but it was highly satisfying to see the yurt turn from mossy green to white again after a good scrubbing and hosedown. Whilst the main group got on with project yurt, helped along with Beth's top-class punning (thanks for the title, Beth!), several of the others helped along with composting and digging, discovering some fat stag beetle larvae in the process. After some high quality photo taking from John, we were rewarded with some lovely freshly grown treats, and headed back off into the sunshine. That was really some state of the yurt super saturday missioning, gang!
