5 GG'ers with a spring in their step met Iain at Clarence Gardens to plant 250 mixed daffodil bulbs that had been donated to the council. Who'd have thought there were different methods of daffodil planting? After using the throw 'em and bury 'em technique last Friday, this week we were educated in the careful placing of small groups of 5 method. After arranging said bulbs at their final resting place we wielded spades to dig holes and bury them - pointy side up of course. Such fabulous GG team work yielded record timing with all bulbs safely in their new homes in 30 minutes. Obviously this resulted in more time for coffee in a lovely warm caff afterwards.
