Report written by Pennie Varvarides
This week we were joined by Kim, who came once before - a year ago! - and finally got around to joining us again. Give her a cheer!
We had a nice easy run tonight, 1km around the block to help Laura plant bulbs on the Green.
After a quick warm up at the leisure centre, it was time to head off. Dave was our trusty back-marker, while I lead the pack around the block.
As always, Laura was pleased to see us, and was quick to tell us what we were doing. The team split into smaller groups and got to work digging and planting and litter picking.
40 minutes later and it was time to pack up out tools and take some group photos by our favourite tree.
We then practiced our arm drive, running through a few drills and sprints and team observation, before moving on to a few squats and a quick practice getting up and down off the floor without using hands and knees.
Homework was set and we ran back to base for stretches.
