This windy Sunday, 5 hardy GoodGymmers took on cleaning up the rubbish that had blown into the undergrowth next to the path that leads to town from Heaton Bowl. Thanks to Amy, Katy, Nicole and Andrew for coming along!!

The lovely Nicole joined us for her first GoodGym community mission and got stuck in straight away.

Andrew found a crisp packet from... 2003 which really hit home how long our rubbish hangs around... it felt like wherever we looked there was another bit of rubbish. Although, nothing was as weird as finding the lamp that had been chucked into a hedge...

It wasnt until after our elevensies when we went back to work that we could see how much of difference we had made. We all felt so motivated that we managed to clear another part of the path!!

Several full bin bags later and we have completed another great community mission!!
