Today, one of GoodGym York ran to spend some time with Mrs E.

I visited Mrs E some time ago, and it was great catching up with her.

It was nice to discuss the changes and people in each of our lives. In such divided times, it was nice to learn that we were on the same page about so much.

We talked about York Pride, taking place this afternoon. As a fledgling activismy/campaigny person I found it cool learning that 50+ years ago Mrs E was part of a campaign to prevent a multistory carpark being built over the neighbourhood I now see as home 💪💪💪

It was a nice gentle run, and a fab visit (and I saw some beautiful tansy beetles, who appeared to be making more of the endangered tansy beetle 💚🪲🪲💚)

Mission accomplished.
