This Sunday 2 GoodGymer's attended the Magdalene Group's fundraising and awareness event, being hosted at Bishops House & Gardens.

It was a busy afternoon and the list of tasks kept the volunteers very busy...

Firstly on refreshments duty - serving tea, coffee and cake, then refilling the milk jugs, urns, water jugs and teapots. Washing and drying up all of the plates, cups, saucers, cutlery and milk jugs, and dealing with all the payments.

Next it was manning the book & craft stalls - selling donated books and taking payments.

Finally onto tidying up - clearing away tables, collecting used plates, cups and saucers. Packing away the folded tables, putting away the crockery and packing up the all the tea, coffee and cakes!

As the organisers put it 'they couldn’t have done it without us'! Shout out to Dré attending her first session. Really great effort well done.
