Today GoodGymers, Exe Nordic Walkers and local Community Builders joined forces to clear King George V Park of litter! What a dream team!

It was a beautiful morning, blue sky and some fantastic autumn colurs in the trees, all perfect for a litter pick in King George V Park.

A very wam welcome to Helen, Catherine, Edward, Tina and Barbara who joined us for the first time. We hope you enjoyed it and that you'll come back soon again for some more "getting fit whilst doing good"!

After a little safety talk we set off in different directions of the park, maintaining social distancing at all times, checking bushes and overgrown areas for litter. Whilst we didn't find quite as much as last time (a good thing really!) we still collected a fair bit of plastic wrappers, bottles and cans. Great work!

As well as getting a lot of extra steps it was also lovely to have local residents walking past thanking us for our work, watching all the happy dogs run around and just really to connect with the beautiful surroundings and with each other.

A very welcomed break from working alone from home!

A huge shout out to all of you for coming along and for making a difference! Take a look at upcoming tasks here and sign up! We'd love to see you soon again!
