The day began with a little surprise on the plot—a rare pink quartz discovered by the team. With sunshine overhead and flowers in full bloom, the whole space felt bright and cheerful. Even after a brief (and we mean very brief!) spell of rain, the plants were still thirsty, so we headed off for water, enjoying the sunshine as we worked. A couple of trips to the Thames later, teamwork paid off and everything was happily watered.

A new sunflower bud added extra excitement, looking set to open by the next visit. The team left feeling refreshed and upbeat—and even gained interest from a potential new recruit.
