it seemed so easy, in theory at least - moving a bench about a metre to enable people using St Mary's Therapeutic Garden to pit their feet on tarmac rather than muddy ground.

There were paving slabs attached which needed to be slightly buried. Trying to get everything aligned was tricky to say the least, but with a little help from friends it was all sorted out.
