Brent Report written by Tabitha Skinner
Five fabulous GoodGym-ers—Tabitha, Beatriz, Tania, Kamil, and Natalia—gathered at TRAID in Kilburn, ready to help the store close out their hectic sale period. We knew we couldn't just hang around; there was serious work to be done!
The mission? To clear the remaining stock off the shop floor so it could be shipped back to the depot. We got right down to the bare threads of the task, packing up clothes— still on their hangers— straight into boxes. Once the garments were safely packed away, we gathered up the remaining empty hangers and boxed those up too. It required some top-tier hanger management, but we didn't let the pressure ruffle our feathers.
In fact, we really pulled our socks up! We worked so quickly and efficiently that we zipped through the entire task in less than 50 minutes. The shop floor was completely transformed, and we were suitably impressed by our own double-speed workout.
A massive, seamless shoutout to Natalia, who joined us for her very first GoodGym session! You could say Natalia was absolutely tailor-made for the task and team. We hope you enjoyed cutting your GoodGym cloth with us, and we hope to see you at another task soon!
With the shop looking sharp and all the gear shifted, we buttoned up the session and headed home. A truly fitting end to a Monday evening!

Following the request, I gave Mr R a call about an hour before I planned to arrive. He was very grateful for the heads-up, as it gave him plenty of time to get ready for the delivery.
I headed to the local Sainsbury’s and picked up a medium-sized bottle of semi-skimmed milk. Upon arriving at his place, I called him again to let him know I was outside, given the broken doorbell.
We settled the payment for the milk, and he was very thankful for the help. It’s missions like these—simple, direct, and well-coordinated—that remind you how much a small gesture can mean to someone's day.

Many hands made light work of the foodbank, enough time to sit down, have a cup of tea and sort out the problems of the world!
Thanks to everyone for their help today, I know the foodbank very much appreciates it!
