Ten points if you get food related pun...
Smashing turn out tonight as we headed off to clean windows. Warm welcome to Hannah and welcome back to Eleanor! Great to see new and familiar faces. Note: I refrained from referring to "old faces!".
Many hands made light work of the window cleaning and we swished through both floors in no time.
Well done everyone!

We headed back to Blue Cross Animal rehoming centre tonight to get our blue gloves. Our job tonight was to clean and tidy the laundry, complete with the biggest washing machines known to man.
Natashaand Imogen made their way up the long hill there whilst Lucy also met us there.
Sweeping, tidying, mopping, cleaning and hoovering .. we stopped short of colour coding / grading the extensive towel collection. Some great shimying too from Imogen on the towels - a new, highly covetable technique for drying floors.
A great job well done and rewarded with the down hill run home. 7km banked, which for some of us, is pretty damn useful... 😉

Tonight we gardened under the cloak of darkness and the stars as wow, the light levels have dropped!
Despite arriving at Polish Community Hub's allotment earlier and coming with head torches, this task did involve 'feeling' our way through and relying on our spider sense! Tash rocked the headtorch btw.. new style statement?!
Great to see Natashaand Clara and we got stuck in weeding and getting some of the ground ready for an incoming shed which we are looking forward to help build come Spring time.
Madga, our task owner, was kind enough to let us snaffle a few apples from the tree (apple crumble, anyone?! ) and the last of the courgettes.
Fab effort everyone!

Welcome to Arpit who came along to their first group run tonight! It was great to meet you!
After a task 'pivot' due to a last minute cancellation, four Good Gymers rolled up their hi-vis sleeves, lit their torches and got to work collecting rubbish strewn along the waterfront and river.
And light work was made of the task as we filled three large rubbish bags. We also disposed of another carrier bag that had already been packed with litter. Has our litter collection started to sow seeds of clearing up? Fingers crossed!
But clearly the colder weather is impacting our appetites as the real conversation turned to food: whats for tea?! And as four veggie Good Gymers, plenty of dinner inspiration was shared! And that's one of the beautiful things about Good Gym: turn up yo collect rubbish, leave with new recipes. Win win.
Well done everyone, especially as the evenings are shorter.

Thank you Natalie for your kind words and helping throughout the run and it was fun to do the cleaning activity along with our other friends. Hope to see you all soon....
