Louise Galvin promised that we wouldn't be disappointed with the amount of rubbish she had found for us to clear this evening. We were disappointed of course that people see fit to drop their litter, but we weren't disappointed that we managed to make the steps from Somerset Road to the Coffeeboy car park look much cleaner and tidier.
Another far from disappointing performance from GoodGym Huddersfield. Well done Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, David Bilton and Louise Galvin for braving the sleety conditions.

Back to Wellhouse to finish clearing the gutters and gullies we didn't get done last time we were there. It wasn't all work however, a local householder was so appreciative of David Bilton's and my efforts she made us a cup of tea!

For the first time in what seems like weeks we had a dry, calm GoodGym task. Litter picking again tonigh, but in very agreeable conditions along the Riverside Way Trail in Huddersfield. Well done and thanks to tonights top pickers, Ben Godfrey, David Bilton and Wendy Redmile.

The weather put a slight dampener on the original plan to paint a fence at Kirkheaton Primary School, but there was plenty to keep David Bilton and I busy for a couple of hours. We set about cutting back a huge shrub in the school grounds which had been overcome with ivy. In doing so we found nearly 50 small balls, presumably lost from PE lessons and playtimes over the years!
