Well done to the amazing GoodGym volunteers this weekend!
Seven GoodGymmers helped out at Watermead Junior parkrun, supporting the young runners and helping the event run smoothly.
Another GoodGymmer was volunteering over at Melton parkrun, doing their part (marshalling) to keep things running safely and successfully.
Great work everyone your support makes a big difference!

Today at abbeypark we had a bore hole dug at the start line so they can start refilling the Lake also Martin was volunteering. At watermead we had Katy,Dave and Dan volunteering. At Braunstone we had Jimmy and Ian volunteering well done everyone ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐

Huge congratulations to Lynn on her 200th volunteer, amazing really weldone on that huge milestone!
Lynn and Dan volunteered at the Watermead Junior Parkrun, where they supported the smooth running of the event and welcoming environment for the young participants and their families. Their time, energy, and commitment were greatly appreciated and contributed to a successful event.
Nick volunteered at the Melton Parkrun, offering his support to ensure the event ran safely and efficiently.

Today was the start of 2026 and some things never change we had goodgymers doing good deeds for the Parkrun community in Leicester. we had Nick and Ashley at Melton at watermead we had Dave and Dan and at Braunstone we had Amanda and Ian a great start to new year well done everyone ๐

With Watermead sadly cancelled numbers were lower than the water, with Dan organising Watermead Juniors and Nick at a foggy Melton Juniors, weldone both!
