Portsmouth Report written by Jane
The rain clouds held back, just as Wilson had forecast!
A big welcome to Eva on her first task. She got stuck in and helped clean up the exercise area, give the drains a good tickle, make some of the kennels shine, and fetched the sandpaper and paint to spruce up the benches and cable drum - truly a tail-wagging transformation.
Our reward? Play time with the dogs! Tails wagged , toys were fetched and hearts melted. Samantha took it one step further and helped clean a little hippo's ears! Cuteness overload!

We did this litter pick in two parts, first we cleared the litter that had been exposed by the bramble-cutting where Wilson found a tennis ball with their name on it and Samantha found Steve hiding in a box!
After a brief pit stop we cleared lots of litter from the hedges on the way to the kennels. We filled a big bag but had to leave lots behind for a future visit.

It was real Goodgym teamwork with Sinéad cheering the runners on, Samantha and Jane scanning their barcodes and Dave sorting the finish tokens, after running round the course.
We cheered the runner who wore a sash to celebrate her 200th parkrun at the 222nd Great Salterns very muddy parkrun. She ran with her sisters who were dressed in tutus - luckily they didn't go as far as to wear ballet shoes!
We also gave a big cheer to all the dogs taking part!

Portsmouth Report written by Andy O'Gorman (He/him)
Tonight kicked off with a legendary gift to each of us from Betsy, custom Run & Rave bangles!!! Mega!
With the new gear donned, Sam, Sinéad, and Andy helped turn the streets into a moving festival of neon, hi-vis, and heavy bass!
The energy was electric, drawing a chorus of honks from every passing car, and even the Police got involved, flashing their blues for us which was met with a synchronized flash of neons.
Harmless Friday night fun. Check.
