Today's mission wasn't just greatly appreciated by Mr A, but by me too, as I really needed a break from my desk and to get some fresh air. Exactly what the beneficial black GoodGym jersey is all about.

I managed to get a LOT of shopping by looking out for some good offers, ticking everything on the long list off.

If things go to plan, me and my husband are moving next week, so this is likely to be my last London GoodGym Mission. That sounds very odd now I've said it. I'm looking forward to connecting with another GoodGym team soon. x

THE tune in my head this week has been a-ha, take on me. It feels like it's hardly left my head, probably because I haven't made time to actually listen to it. I will this afternoon!

I can't remember the last time I ate Corn Flakes. Today's mission to do some shopping for Mr A has given me a taste for them, however I suspect there's been a recipe change within the last 40 years, so I'm not going to risk it!!

Great to hear that GoodGym are helping Mr A with another task tomorrow to help him get online banking on is tablet, which he asked me about recently 🙌

When me and my now husband used to go to the supermarket together, it was pretty much his job to pack the bags, or at least repack the bags I packed!! I'm pretty sure 'we' (me) started doing our shopping online just to avoid this scenario. Now when I'm shopping on GoodGym missions, I often think back to this time, and at least now I'm smiling about it ;-) I think he would be pretty impressed that some of his packing 'skilz' have crept into mine (I did already have some, honest). Or it could just be the fact I want Mr A's shopping to arrive in perfect condition :)

'They' say that when it rains the weather is good for ducks....unless their legs have been packaged up and are on the shelves at Morrisons!! ;-) Good for Mr R though, as he was keen to have some today.

Another delicious run in the rain this afternoon, not dodging the puddles and having a thoroughly wonderful time away from my desk.

There seemed to be a lot of talk of Brexit in the supermarket aisles. I suppose it makes a change from Covid. x

It was lovely to see Mr A again today after a short run and a long walk in the rain with his shopping. I was looking forward to my longer run home in the rain; I absolutely love running in the rain - splish splash splosh through the biggest puddles possible (expect when going past people, mostly!!) it's so much fun and without a care of how wet I get. I always run faster too :)

Mr A doesn't often have a lot to say, he mostly thanks me and then we go our separate ways. Today though we chatted for a bit and I'm hoping we can get someone to help him with a computer tablet issue he's having. Longer conversations are of course what they are, but also an opportunity to look into people's eyes and get more of an idea of how they're doing. It was nice. It felt momentarily normal. I feel he's doing ok.

I've got another mission coming up later today and of course I have spare kit, but I'm hoping to get this lot dry!! x
