On our 3rd post lockdown visit Paula and I carried on the good work that the team had previously started which was covering over a dated mural with some fresh brick coloured paint.
With an audience of little people watching on, the time flew.
Paula has already done 25 good deeds with GoodGym. Instead of doing anything else, they've used their run to go and help people that need their help; digging, lifting, scraping, clearing, planting and weeding. Stuff that makes this a better place to be.
We spent the session dismantling several planters in the area of Bugscycle which is soon going to be seeing a makeover, thanks to the creative imagination of Creative Waves. Gill and Paula cleared out various lorry tyres separating plants from weeds while Ricky helped to break up planter boxes "home-made" from pallets. The eventual result will be that the area benefits from a major facelift, making it an even more attractive feature for the local community.
Join me for a 45 min fitness session and 15 minute stretch followed by an optional coffee/ breakfast outside at Coast
Bring a mat, water and money.
Meet opposite the rowing club.
4 of us were delighted to make our first post lock down visit to Kamelia Kids. We were warmly welcomed by Andy.
John , Sue , Paula and I got stuck into 90 minutes of splashing paint on the walls covering up a tired mural with fresh brick red colour.
it was lovely that the nursery manager came out with the chair of the trustees , who was visiting, to personally thank us for our work at the centre.
We can't wait to return again soon.
