Well done to everyone who came on Tuesday to help us tidy up a local community centre.

After some fumbling with the keys, we gained access to the football pitch and started our sweeping up, ripping up the weeds and odd and ends that had started to infest the corners.

We also welcomed Amy, who was part of Goodgym Liverpool before moving back down to London, hopefully see you again soon!

Thanks to everyone who attended, I'm sure we made a real difference for when the kids make use of this pitch throughout the summer!

A lovely evening spent busy in one of the beds of Wormholt Park, tackling several weeds that had made their home amongst the desired flowers.

Divya was excellent with the shovelling, digging out the deeper rooted sycamore trees (sick-of-more of them am I right?) whilst the rest of us focussed on the shallowly rooted weeds.

We were back alongside the Crabtree, who surely must be grateful that the area below their pub gets regularly swept for litter. I've been told that previously they offered pints to us for all our efforts and I think this is something that should start up again!

I joke of course, the main impact is that we tidy, even if its a small bit, bits of plastic and litter that otherwise would choke the river.

Congratulations as well to Olena on attending her first ever Goodgym group run! Were happy to have you :)
