We'll be heading over to the bowling green to plant fruit and veg in the garden.

8 of GoodGyms finest dominated 60 minutes of running fitness action in Vauxhall.

A surprise rain shower greeted us but little did we know it would be a blessing in disguise!! Finding our way to an empty floodlit area we made the most of the facilities and got going to raise our pulses and activate our muscles!

Key focus (after getting warm) was to really focus on getting our knee drive powerful and high then engage our solid core to create the perfect platform to run efficiently and powerfully.

Interspersing Running form drills with strength and conditioning exercises to get our bodies strong enough to coup with our extra power. Great muscle stability, balance and mental grit helping us to complete a range of mainly lower body and core moves.

Finishing off the hour with some perfectly formed forward leaning power strides then 6 minutes of pairs relays at a strong tempo.

Thanks for coming out and hope you enjoyed the session! Look forward to seeing you all next week (and every Thursday in February) same time, same place.

We are bringing Running Fitness to Vauxhall!! Meeting outside Vauxhall station Infront of Nando’s 6:45pm start (look out for me in Red GoodGym Top).

We will be working on our Running Fitness with a series of Running Form Drills, Running specific Strength and conditioning exercises and of course some Running!

If you are looking to get started with your running journey, want to improve after running for a little while or you are a seasoned running wanting a top Thursday evening workout this is the season for you!

The session is 60 minutes of high energy action. There is no bag storage so please come ready to run.

Join the GGH crew for a post-run refuel!

Join us after the group run for a refueling at the recently opened Bruce Burgers. The menu features lots of meat, plus three types of veggie burger.

Bruce Burgers is a 15 min walk from the leisure centre, but it'll be worth it! Running is optional, if you want to get ahead and nab us a table!

Improve your wellbeing by joining us on Wednesday evenings. We run to do good deeds in the community.. volunteering and getting fitter as we go. Meet at 6.45pm and start running for 7:00pm. We work hard on a physical task for 30 to 45 minutes, then we all run back to the start venue by 8.30pm.
