Louis and I met to help clear rooms for Mr J‘s hospital bed due the next day. It was a rather large bed which we had to dismantle and re- assemble in the appropriate room. In addition we also manoeuvered the washing machine into a better position. All done in 20 minutes!
Greeted by Mr K who needed a bed and mattress moved downstairs to the garage. Latoya proved herself to be an absolute bed-dismantling pro! She must read IKEA instruction manuals in her sleep! Not too tough to carry or manoeuvre and the task was finished in no time at all. I hope that Mr K's wife is comfortable back at home.
Referred by an occupational therapist two GoodGym cyclists rode to help Mr A to prepare his home for his return from hospital. We removed a cupboard and rearranged a bed. We even did a little vacuuming to prepare the room. Nice to meet Louis again on another mission completed. Both of us also having had a decent bit of exercise. And for me an additional bonus to discovered a new route to Totteridge Village.
