Our first return trip to the SouthVILLE Centre for too long - so much so that Sarah went to and totally confused the SouthBANK Centre (in Southville) but may have acquired us an extra task by reminding them how much they miss us 😂

We had staggered start times for three Community Missions, the first sweeping the edges of the outdoor space, the second painting the wood in the outdoor space and the third painting a pallet fence in the car park. The painting in the outside space needed tall GoodGymmers so obviously we had the compact-est GoodGymmers on that task!

So much painty progress, and so much more still to do - return trips required!

Fortunately there are loads of tools and space, provided by task owner “Six Brooms” Hugh, who was really impressed with our help. I think. Either that or it was hysteria.

The Adventure Playground is finally able to reopen after all the Covid lockdowns and huge rebuild after last year’s arson attack!

It’s looking amazing and we were tidying up the last of the building tools and moving the old, incredibly heavy, fencing so it can be recycled into something fun somewhere else.

My first shopping mission for a vulnerable person went very succesfully- Mrs P was extremely grateful and it was nice to have a brief chat with someone new- a rarity in lockdown life!
