GoodGym has been asked by Community Connections if any runner is able to help Miss C with her shopping. Miss C will provide a shopping list. She would like the volunteer not only to visit the supermarket but also pop into the pharmacy for some piriton (available over the counter - no prescription needed). Miss C would be grateful for the help.
Josh has done 10 good deeds. They are a trusted GoodGym runner and are now eligible to join their local TaskForce.
GoodGym have been asked by Community Connections Lewisham to help Mr S with his grocery shopping. He would like some fresh food to get him through to his next delivery. There is a Sainsbury's very close to his house - he will provide a shopping list before the mission. Mr S will be paying by bank transfer post mission so any runner signing up needs to be prepared to pay for the shopping (up to the £20 max limit) and then get reimbursed by GoodGym. Please only sign up if you are happy and able to do so.
GoodGym have been asked by the British Red Cross Kings College Hospital to help Mr R.
He needs his current bed moving outside from his ground floor flat in order to make space for a hospital bed to be delivered. The Housing officer will take care of the bed once it is moved outside. The bed is a divan bed that needs to be dismantled, Mr R's sister will make sure tools are available for this.
Mr R will be on site to provide access although he does struggle with dementia. His sister will be available on the phone if needed (she is shielding so cannot be there in person)
