Morning strengthen, stretch and relax the body

Half hour on line yoga session at 7am Join at 6.55 This is a simple beginners / intermediate online yoga session designed to both strengthen, stretch and relax the body. It will be an 1/2 hour session using some simple yoga poses both static and dynamic, and the focus will be on mindful breath and movement. Please wear loose clothes, you need a yoga mat (or similar) and may be a thin blanket for relaxation. Please let me know if you have any questions or if its your first time. I will email a link out on the day before or on the Yoga whatsApp group. ( let me know if you what to go on the Whats App group.)

A few Goodgym Member is came online to do some yoga. It was a hot one!

Derived from the Sanskrit word “yuji,” meaning yoke or union, yoga is an ancient practice that brings together mind and body.

It incorporates breathing exercises, meditation and poses designed to encourage relaxation and reduce stress.

Practicing yoga is said to come with many benefits for both mental and physical health.

Three GoodGym members came to help remove furniture from Joan‘s front room so that she could have a hospital bed and proper care when returning from hospital. We met her son who didn’t have any one to help him set up the room. We were a tad overstaffed as a three man team but it made it quick work! Best wishes to Joan and her son.

Yoga is keeping you on your toes!

A few GoodGym members came together to do morning yoga. We squeezed in an all-round workout - A good warmup followed by stretching and relaxation at the end. We also focused on balances and feet strength which will help running and reduce foot related injuries Check out the goat!
