Two runners meet at Winton rec we decided to cover Winton Charminster we where soon flying up and down the roads putting the flyers through letter boxes.We started at 6 and finished at 7.15 .The few we have left will go in community centers etc.

Six Goodgymmers, Daryl, Janet, Mohammed, Ross, Keith and Lea, equalled the old people in numbers. Where was everyone? Eh one in pyjamas, one on a cruise, etc etc. Not to worry, in spite of braving the horrendous weather, we quickly split up on teams. Lea, being extra nervous as it was her first time as quizmaster, lost half her notes and the answers to the pictures quiz…. But she pulled herself together and then all of us had a great time answering geography questions, questions related to “Sunday” and Pot Luck questions. With team “WET, WET,WET” winning with 34 points, team “TWO” came a close second with 27 points. On our way to next month’s quiz for sure.

It was great to see so many turn out for the end of year quiz at the Care Home it means so much to them they do enjoy a quiz.We split into two teams The Christmas Crackers and The Christmas Trees,we started with a picture round you had to name the movies that featured the following Farther Christmases which was a bit of fun.Followed by 20 general Knowledge questions based on Christmas which you either loved or hated ,but the scores on the doors was very close The Crackers got 25 ,but the winners by one point was the Trees with 26 well done to both Teams. We shall be back at the Care Home in the New Year the date is January 12th.In the mean time please check out the web site as there is so much happening in the lead up to Christmas.Hope to see you all soon.
