Fiona and Helen were stacking and packing today at the Ladywood Food Hub. Their help was gratefully received as there was plenty of cans of food to get ready among the piles of food delivered.

Today’s shift was a good one, with Helen yet again volunteering. What a fabulous contribution she has made to this vital cause. It was great to see that there were lots of donations again, the food supply has restored well this week. Even better, there were some delicious chocolate truffle treats as well as the normal stuff.

Helen took part in another afternoon of volunteering at the Ladywood Food Hub. She went inside to help sort food into parcels for delivery. Today there was plenty of food to sort, including root vegetables - potatoes, parsnips, swede, beetroot. There were lots of volunteers at the start but only Helen for the last hour. So well done for keeping the show on the road.
