And now for something completely different

Wed 24 Mar
Report written by Elaine Jackson

This week’s mission was, I think, a first for Goodgym Trafford - a virtual mission. No gardening gloves or hairnets required, just a computer, half an hour, a cup of tea and a box of tissues. Seven Goodgymers were able to review / provide feedback on the ‘Shine a Light on Suicide’ training module, designed to train as many residents, community groups and volunteers about suicide prevention awareness. The content was of a challenging nature but hopefully, those trained would have a improved awareness of the problems and a better chance of helping someone in need.

Not Known, ???, ???
By helping ensure training is effective

And now for something completely different! We have the opportunity to give some feedback on a training module that is designed to “shine a light on suicide” to help " to try and get as many residents/ community groups / volunteers trained around suicide prevention awareness.

The training module isn’t finalised so this is a chance for us to let the Suicide Prevention Board know how the training would be received by people like us.

Once you have signed up, I will email all the info you need.
