6 GoodGymers met at Carriers of Hope tonight โ Georgia, Lucy, Lil, Marcelle, Frank and me. Great to see Marcelle again, and lovely to have Frank back after heโd turned up a night early by mistake (bless him ๐).
We were greeted by Andrew, who got us set up for sorting, weighing, sealing and packing lentils. Last time we were weighing out flour and had a lot of fun โ this time it was all about the pulses. There were different wonderful colours and types of lentils and rice to work with. We unloaded everything into boxes, measured it into bags, heat-sealed them and packed the bags into crates. Once weโd been given our various jobs we got stuck in a few minor mishaps with the heat sealer ๐ and quality control from Lil on making sure we sealed perfectly straight lol We managed a good few crates. No bean about it โ a satisfying eveningโs work!

We had a lovely walk and a chat as the sun set and even collected some chestnuts en route. Thanks Lil for the cookies!

Frank Valantini earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Frank completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Frank was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Frank Valantini has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Frank is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Nine GoodGymers visited Carriers of Hope,
We joined Steph, Gloria, and Emmanuel to sort through heaps and heaps of donated toys into neat age groups. From dolls to diggers, board games to books โ every donation a perfect gift, with some amazing fun toys for the children to choose from!
It was a great turnout, and everyone pitched in to organise and prepare everything, lightening the load for the Carriers of Hope crew. Good work, everyone! ๐
