An amazing 8 people signed up to help at the Baby Bank today, which I think is a record. We welcomed Caroline for her very first GoodGym session, and she quickly got to grips with the many intricacies of clothes-sorting. It was a typically busy session, with the team split between first and second checks. Thanks to Jane for taking on the sorting out of the overflow bags and congratulations on reaching your 10th Good Deed!

5 GoodGymers helped out at the Baby Bank this morning. Whilst Carys, Jane and Sheila sorted clothes donations, Carol and Karen were asked to have a look at the Fancy Dress donations. Were there enough in good condition in order to have a pop-up sale just before World Book Day to raise some vital funds. They had fun sorting through the clothes, labelled them with sizes and were pleased to find sufficient for a pop-up sale to be viable. Hurrah!

Carol, Sue, Winnie and Sheila had a lovely morning sorting clothes and chatting at the Baby Bank, just about keeping pace with donations as they came in. Great job, team!

6 GoodGymers helped out at the Baby Bank for another busy session. Welcome back to Winnie for her second session, and Sue for her third. Sue, Winnie and Jane were in charge of doing the first checks on clothing donations, keeping Karen busy doing a secondary check and storing them away in the correct boxes. Carol and Sheila were asked to sort out all the socks. Firstly we had to move half the crates of shoes in order to accommodate the sock shelving and then it was on to the sorting. We labelled up the boxes for the different sizes and then made sure that all the socks were new and in the correct boxes ( SO many ladies tights!). More difficult than it sounds, but we managed to finish the task by the end of the session and hopefully it will make finding the right socks easier in future
