It seemed as though there had been a party by the Ravensbourne in Deptford - there were KFC wrappers and cheap lager cans at one point. It was about the only litter though - much of the rest of the walk through Brookmill Park was removing the invasive Himalayan balsam and keeping the path open with secateurs. Adi will have had a lot more litter in Sydenham’s Mayow Park.

As usual, there were two if us out doing Lewisham litter picking at different times in different locations. Adi was dodging Sydenham's showers on Ssturday on Mayow Park.

Paul was also dodging the showers in Deptford's Brookmill Park the day before. He'd been plogging away from home last week and an enormous amount of litter had been brought down by high flows of the last week, several bags worth were filled. There was also two weeks' growth of nettles and brambles to cut through to keep the path passable foe foxes and humans.
