Zoom for Improvement

I cycled on down to Ms I on Saturday afternoon and after doing a full lap of the block to find the correct entrance, Ms I let me in and showed me her computer that had been playing up when trying to use zoom .

The first step was to test the zoom app , and fortunately there were no problems with the sound or video and all seemed well … which was strange as she had been struggling to use it . The meetings she attends are usually emailed to her so I tried to open a meeting from the email link and this revealed the problem , the browser would not launch the Zoom app and she could only join in the browser version . This is where the problems with sound came in and unfortunately I couldn’t find a solution. However where there is a will there is a way , and I showed Ms I that she could type the meeting ID into the Zoom app to join for a full experience with working sound and video. Although not as easy as clicking on a link , it does the job and Ms I was happy with the workaround and will now be able to enjoy a mindfulness zoom session on Monday
