It was a cold Saturday morning with the mercury sitting at just zero, but the sun was shining! After completing a parkrun (and Jenni getting a PB!), the mission was just round the corner.

Weeding the garden was the task ahead of us, and boy did we weed!

The borders of the garden were starting to be taken over by weeds, in this once glorious and colourful garden. So we dug and pulled and collected two bags of weeds (and a whole load of sticky clay-ey soil on the way).

After just over an hour, with sniffly noses and cold toes, it was mission complete!

Back in to the warmth we were shown some lovely pictures of the lady's family, at her 100th birthday last year and how beautiful the garden was in full flower - blooming marvellous!
