Tonight the last few intrepid runners took to the street for one last push, January challenge no more. Welcomed in once more by our new friends at the STAR Hyb, armed with our tools loaned from the wonderful Keep Wales Tidy. After fighting with the elastic loops of the bag holders, then braving the cold air we began our quest to remove the rubbish around the hub. Once done we moved to the streets surrounding the parks where once again Good Gym Cardiff was met with thanks from a member of the public.

You are really good, thank you

It makes such a difference hearing these words from the community that we are trying to help. Even the kids noticed our return since helping to clean the windows for the Royal visit. Before we knew it time had passed, our fingers had lost all feeling and it was time to stop. So we unloaded, tied our bags, returned the equipment and sat to chat and warm up before leaving.

And now we bid farewell to January and rest a little in awe of the work that has been completed in just 31 days. It really is such an achievement that we should all be proud of.
